This disc is soldered to the stamped body of a BA15 bulb, and can have a lense attached. It can be used with 1W, 3W, and 5W LEDs,
although at 5W continuos use tends to cause overheating. The lense gives it proper optics to take place of bulbs in housings that use lights directly in front of the cover.
These are LED tail lights that I designed for my bikes to increase visbility and stop having to deal with bulbs.
As the previous BA15 style adapters weren't suitable for use where the bulb is on the side like in these, so I decided to make compelete replacement PCBs.
I included multiple positions to test out various configurations. They were also adjusted to not impede vision of others drivers. I added an aluminium
divider made from a beer can into the CZ175 light to separate the brake light portion and reflect light downward toward the license plate.
